Bach Flowers

Dr. Edward Bach was born in 1886 in a village near Birmingham, England called Moseley. He was so friendly, loving and with a good sense of humor. He loved nature and outdoor play. His dream was to find a cure for every disease and heal people as Jesus did.

When Bach was 20, decided to become a doctor. In 1912, he graduated from University Hospital Birmingham. Two years later he received another degree in Health in Cambridge.

While studying his medical career, Bach began to notice that there was a relationship between disease and the patient’s emotional state. He observed that people with the same disease and similar personality responded well to a certain remedy, while people with the same disease but different personality, no. Based on these observations, Dr. Bach concluded that one should not treat the disease but the patient.

Dr. Bach believed that some flowers could change the negative emotions of the person such as fears, phobias and hatred of courage and love. By achieving this, the flowers might cure the cause of the disease.
